The Board of Adjustment consists of a five member board appointed by the City Council to serve a five year term.  Duties of the board include: Review appeals of the Zoning Ordinance, review requests for uses that are conditionally permitted, and hear and decide appeals regarding the enforcement of the Zoning Code.

The Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:15 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 2 North 7th Street, if  applications have been submitted for Board action.

The Planning & Zoning Commission consists of a seven member board appointed by the City Council to serve a five year term.  Duties of the board include: consideration of changes to the Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map and Comprehensive Plan, review of proposed sub-division plats, and Special Exception Use Permit applications.

The Planning & Zoning Commission meets only when applications have been submitted for Commission action. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 2 North 7th Street.
